Due to significant affordability hurdles, alongside limitations in public financing and market-based solutions, financiers are critical to addressing the housing challenges of the greater Upper Valley region. Financing is needed on both a local and regional scale for implementation programs and improving our region’s knowledge and communications. Financiers include banks and other lenders or granting agencies, but employers, municipalities, and new dedicated local or regional funds can also step in and provide financing.  

We have come to identify critical actions we recommend financiers review. These do not include all important actions.
