Chester completed their Bylaw Modernization-funded project this past winter.  The changes included significant modifications to their zoning districts in the village area where there is municipal water and sewer, and corresponding changes that enable more housing options.  The lot size and dimensional standards are significantly reduced, and the allowed uses make for an easier, more streamlined process to approve certain housing production.  For more detail about the project, please visit their project website.  Chester is now working to improve their zoning in the rural parts of town.
