Communities in the greater Upper Valley region share many similar housing needs and challenges. Improving current regional knowledge, through coordination and focused study, and sharing that knowledge regularly should be a major priority. This sharing of knowledge should include but not be limited to new information, best practices, lessons learned, and connections between municipal leaders and resident champions. A regional approach led by regional planning commissions, working in coordination with parallel local efforts, would help to identify, maintain and highlight regional priorities and local successes.
