Providers of emergency housing and homes with supportive services should convene regularly. This collaboration should focus on maintaining and expanding successful facilities through the sharing of local experience, best practices, and lessons learned.

Providers already come together within high service areas, such as the Upper Valley Core and Springfield Vermont Continuum of Care groups; however, there is no designated coordination for the greater Upper Valley region as a whole. Convening at a larger regional and bi-state level is appropriate given the limited number of providers and the tendency for many residents to seek emergency housing and homes with supportive services from communities outside of their hometowns.
