Standards can create costs and are supposed to be consistent with municipal plan goals. Many can be eliminated or relaxed without losing a benefit or creating public harm.   • Allow more homes per lot/acre  
  • Adjust setbacks  
  • Reduce parking requirements  
  • Reduce minimum lot size in rural areas
