Remove Act 250 permitting for affordable housing projects in any state designated areas that are covered by local zoning and subdivision bylaws. Also, due to Act 250 thresholds, a non-profit that developed ten units in close proximity (i.e. “involved land” within a 5 mile radius) over a few years might trigger Act 250. In towns with zoning and subdivision, non-profit affordable housing developers should not be subject to this requirement.
